Lakeridge and Riviera Lake, Harvey Park, Denver, Colorado - Mid-Century Modern Homes

An asymmetrical Mid-Century Modern A-frame in Harvey Park’s Lakeridge neighborhood in Denver, Colorado.

The properties in the Lakeridge Community and around Riviera Lake in Harvey Park are significantly larger than the homes in the surrounding area and reside on larger lots. There are homes of a mixed variety of architectural styles now due to scrapes and rebuilds, but most of them are mid-century or mid-century modern.

Riviera Lake is one of the only private lakes in Denver County where residents are allowed to jet ski! Many homes have their own private docks and due to the low supply and high demand, not many homes come to market in this area.

Additionally, Lakeridge is a part of a larger Community Association. Residents have access to a private lake, park, tennis court, and basketball court. There is one undeveloped lot on Yale that backs to Wolcott Lake that has never been built on before. Outside of that, all remaining structures in the neighborhood are pre-existing.

Both communities back to private lakes, with views of the mountains, and are off limits to non-residents. Some of the homes in Lakeridge in particular are extremely unique in terms of their architectural styles, including the only Harvey Park A-frame, pictured here.

Lakeridge was developed by numerous builders and architects between 1955-1961, among them, Egan Builders. Three custom homes along Yale were designed by Oluf Nielsen. There are also three model homes in this neighborhood, two of which were featured in the 1960 and 1961 Parade of Homes, respectively.

Riviera Lake was developed by Lou Carey between 1955-1956 with various different architects.
